Located just outside Arusha city, Arusha National Park is one of northern Tanzania’s most accessible and diverse safari destinations. Dominated by Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, the park combines montane forest, volcanic landscapes, open grasslands, the Momella Lakes and the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater.

Its proximity to Arusha makes it particularly suitable for day trips, walking safaris and short adventures before or after a longer northern Tanzania safari.

  • Mount Meru
    The dominant landmark of Arusha National Park and Tanzania’s second-highest mountain. Its volcanic landscapes, forests and dramatic summit scenery make it one of Tanzania’s rewarding mountain adventures.
